“So do not throw away this confident trust in the Lord. Remember the great reward it brings you! Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God’s will. Then you will receive all that he has promised.”
Hebrews 10:35-36 (NLT)
In the mind of God there are no helpless situations. No one’s beyond redemption. No one’s beyond saving. No one’s beyond deliverance. This is why we’re never to give up or quit. God does not write anybody or anything off! This is why we’re told, “…do not throw away this confident trust in the Lord.”
Your confident trust in the Lord is your key to triumph! One of the biggest things you’ll contend with in life is keeping your confidence in the Lord while you’re waiting for your triumph to show up. Triumph doesn’t always come instantly. You may want it overnight but it will take perseverance.
Worries, fears, anxieties, pressures and negative thoughts come to us all. They press us to let go of our confidence in the Lord’s willingness and ability to turn things around. We want you to realize that these things are spiritual attacks meant to dissuade you. Stand your ground! The moment you called upon the Lord in faith, He began the work of leading you into triumph. You’re in the season between your “Amen” and God’s “Answer”. How you conduct yourself in this season will determine your outcome.
Remember…delay is not denial, darkness is not defeat. God’s not finished with you.
