In His Time…

…there is perfect peace.

“I Don’t Know”

It was his 6th birthday, so his daddy asked him,

“Since it’s your birthday, you can pick anything you want for dinner.  What would you like to eat for dinner tonight?”

The quick response was,

“I don’t know.”

“No, really.  It’s your birthday, what do you want for dinner.  You can have anything you want.”

The same response,

“I don’t know.”

“You mean there’s nothing special that you’ve really been wanting to eat?!”

“I don’t know.”

Hours past.

As video games were being played,  all of a sudden, out of the clear blue, the birthday boy exclaimed,

“I know what I want for dinner!”

“What?”  His daddy asked.

“I want corn dogs for dinner!”  he said, with a big smile on his face.

So, that evening, the birthday boy and his family went out for a corn dog for a birthday dinner.

A corn dog at Der Wienerschnitzel.

But…

…not just ONE corn dog.

He wanted SIX corn dogs!

Six corn dogs because, he turned SIX years old.

His parents bought him six corn dogs.

He ate two, then gave the rest to his siblings.
