Tea Party

On Saturday, the ladies of our church met at the Country Court Tea Room in Capitola-by-the-sea, California for a time of fun, fellowship, and food. It was a perfect day! Thank you, Christina, for organizing this day. We had a wonderful time!

  1. What a delightful event. The smiles tell it all. And I love seeing the hats for the tea – Perfect.

Most of us didn’t own hats, so we didn’t wear them. Actually I have a cowboy hat, but I wasn’t allowed to wear it. Ha! 🙂 I guess it didn’t go with the theme. 🙂 Maybe next time, I’ll get a country tea style hat to wear.

  2. Oh, I love tea parties! The Country Court Tea Room looks like a great place. I’m glad you all had a good time. 🙂

When and where was the last one you went to?

  3. Awwe. This reminded me of a bridal tea party I had last year before my wedding. Everyone wore hats except for my sister’s mother-n-law who is 85 and didn’t want to mess up her bun.

Oh, how fun that sounds. What a wonderful idea – a bridal tea party.
Ha, that’s funny about your sister’s mother-in-law. She sounds like she just does what she wants. 🙂

  4. Hi Tena,

The last one I went to was in the backyard of my good friend, Sister Carole Kerr. Her and her husband pastor in Fremont. A couple of years ago, we had a sectional ladies’ tea in Concord. Every church that was there brought their own tea service and table decorations, and prizes were given for the best decorated table. It was a lot of fun.

One of the nicest tea rooms I’ve been to is Camelia’s Tea Room in Benecia. It’s cute and cozy and the food is yummy.

    Wow, that sounds like fun!
