In His Time…

…there is perfect peace.

13 Precious Children & One Precious, 90 Year Old Woman

Last Sunday, Patricia (my friend from church) and I brought 13 children on our bus route, to Sunday School! A record! It’s not really a “bus” route, yet. The bus God gave us for just $1 still needs some work before it can be put to use but, we aren’t letting that stop us from taking as many as we can in our cars.

This could be the only time these children hear about the Gospel of Jesus Christ and we want to give them the opportunity of a life time! We thank God for touching their little hearts and giving them the desire to come.

We also brought Dolores to church; her first time ever in a Pentecostal church service. She is the mother of a lady that Patricia works for. She will be 90 in April and she looks and acts much, much younger. She’s spry and talkative, and so cute. She preached with the Pastor; standing and clapping and worshiping throughout the service. As soon as the invitation to go to the altar and pray was given, she went up there as fast as she could. She told Patricia, “God is here.” Patricia said, “Yes, I know. Where two or three are gathered in His name, He would be there, the scripture says.” Dolores said, “No, He really is here! I can feel him!” She wants to come back and on the way home, asked Patricia three times, “You’re going to come get me next Sunday, right?” 😀

Our praying and fasting is working. We can feel that God’s Spirit is drawing the hungry souls. Nothing can stop us from reaching the lost in Hollister and the surrounding cities. In Jesus’ name!

Matthew 18:1 At that time the disciples came to Jesus, saying, “Who then is greatest in the kingdom of heaven?” 2 Then Jesus called a little child to Him, set him in the midst of them, 3 and said, “Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. 4 Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. 5 Whoever receives one little child like this in My name receives Me. 6 “But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were drowned in the depth of the sea.

How precious are children in the sight of Jesus…

…and 90 year old women. 😀 Thank You, Jesus.

  1. YES!!!
    GLORY!!!
SHOUT WITH THE VOICE OF TRIUMPH,
SHOUT WITH THE VOICE OF PRAISE,
SHOUT UNTO GOD FOR THE VICTORY,

I’m running the aisles, I’m running around the building, I’m running around my block, I don’t know how to tell my excitement for you.
In the book of Acts I love the part where it says about if it is of God, it can’t be stopped.
    God bless you Sis Tena.

  2. Tena,
I rejoice with you. For years our family was involved in the Bus Ministry in Fresno. It takes true burden, which through your words is apparent. May God bless you for your dedication, for in so doing the greatest blessings will come to your church and the lives of those you touch. Will be praying, and please keep us posted. Wow, $1 bus is a miracle in itself.
