The real world is the one we can’t see.
The world we see with our physical eyes is temporal.
The world we see with our spiritual eyes is eternal.
2 Corinthians 4:18 (ASV) – “while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.”

This (what you see in these photos) is what really matters in this life – people being baptized – souls being saved so they can go to heaven.
Achieving fame, education, promotion, success, and good health – acquiring houses, land, possessions, and wealth all pale in comparison to leading people to Christ and salvation. Nothing is wrong with all of this, but one day it will all pass away. Only what we’ve done in the eternal world will last.
“God, help us to have ETERNAL VISION as we look at the people in this world. Help us to see the hungry, hurting souls and share with them the Gospel of Jesus Christ. That Christ died for all and rose again so that everyone who comes to Him can have eternal life. Everyone who comes to Jesus can have a joyful, abundant life here on earth and a reward of a life in heaven forever.”

Amen. May our Vision be an Eternal one.
I’m so glad you agree, Sis. Karen. It’s easy to sometimes wake up and realize we’re so busy in our lives that the most important things (eternal) are being put on the back burner. I pray to God that He always helps me to be KINGDOM MINDED. Love you.

While our church has a Baptistry, when we began a few years ago, we would go down to the Gadalupe River and Baptize. So every summer (end of summer) we have a baptism service down at the river.
