I’m blessed.
I have four sisters.
The other day, I was blessed to be able to spend a day with my sister, Malia. We shopped @ DSW for shoes and I was so surprised when Malia bought me a pair of shoes for my birthday. She is so sweet.
Then we walked around Santana Row and went into a few stores, one of them being Anthropologie (one of my favorites).
We ate lunch at a place called, Pluto’s, where I got a very yummy salad. We sat and talked, and talked, and talked – catching up on everything, since we hadn’t got together in a while.
After that, we walked around and went into a few more stores, then ended the day at Peet’s, where great, fresh coffee is served. What a wonderful visit we had. My sister, Malia, is a wonderful lady who loves God and loves working in His kingdom. I love her very much.

That’s a great picture of you guys! You can tell you are sisters!
Thanks! Yeah, we both look like our father that’s why we look alike.

I always enjoy spending time with my sisters too. Is Malia the youngest sister?
Is Malia the youngest? Well, no. See, I have two sisters (Malia (30) and Maile (24) – we share the same dad, but not mom. Then I have two sisters (Jennifer (37) and Shawnna (35) – we share the same mom. I had one sibling (a brother) – we had the same dad and mom, but he passed away at the age of 15. When my parents divorced (I was age 5), they both eventually remarried. Did I totally confuse you?
Bottom line – I’m so thankful to have four beautiful, special, precious sisters.

I only have one sibling, my sister Paula. She has always worked such long hours that we don’t get much time together, but I love her dearly.
P.S. Bryce is drooling over your car.
You know, Sis. Jana, my sister, Malia works as a nurse at Stanford and is very involved in her church, Sunday School teacher, etc., so she is very busy. And, my life is very busy. It’s been hard for us to find time to get together. I realized, though, that there will never be a time when her and I truly “have the time”, we must just make the time and do it. Even if it’s only for a few hours, I don’t want to wait a real long time in between visits.
Tell your son that if he ever comes through Gilroy, stop and see us and my husband will let him drive the Roush. It’s soooooooo fun!

Sis Tena, Sisters are the greatest, I have 2 wonderful sisters, one older and lives in California with one daughter, my niece, and one younger in Penn, with my 4 nephews, I hate that we all live far apart, but i love them just the same, i am able to get with my sister in cal more than my other, however, we talk on the phone every day, i am glad that you all had a great time with your sister, love you much
Ohhh…that is far.
But, that’s great that you stay in contact by phone. The contact is very important. Love and prayers.
