We have a fruit stand in Gilroy on Hwy 152. It’s our first one besides selling cherries from our house. It’s very new to us and we must learn by trial and error how to run it, but we’re gonna go for it!
Here we go…on another venture. I believe God will bless it.

We’re selling cherries,

strawberries,

artichokes, and bottled water.
We’ve also added, since this photo, apricots and peaches.

I think I could eat a pound of those cherries right now! They look mouth-watering-delicious!
Sis. Jana, our own cherries (bings and rainiers) won’t be ripe until a couple of weeks, but when they are you should drive on over and try them. People say they are the best they’ve ever had.

What a great looking stand. Did you paint the picture, or one of your family? If we aren’t running late when we come up later this week, will try to drop off Hwy 101 and come by for a “cherry” refill.
Our son, Kyle, made the sign. He’s very artistic. The car is our Roush Mustang
Yay, it would be great to see you!
You take the 10th Street exit and go East. Pass the stores, pass the garlic factory. There’s a school on the right. We’re directly across the street from the school – on the left. Our stand faces the Northbound traffic. Hope to see you!

Love the sign & the fruit looks delicious. I am sure God will bless this venture! How do you stay cool?
Thanks for the encouragement, Tina! We didn’t stay cool during the heat wave! We just hung in there. I’m so glad it’s cooled off now.

I just LOVE the sign! Kyle did awesome! And the fruit looks scrumptious. I’m so glad it cooled off a little for you too.
Thanks, Sis. Hurst.

p.s. We fixed some of the artichokes Sunday and they were delicious!
Oh, good. Glad you liked them. They were rather yummy.

That’s a great looking sign, and the fruit and artichokes are enough to make me start drooling. I better keep my mouth closed.
Summer fruit is sooooo delicious! And, when it’s just picked, it’s the BEST!

I wish I could reach into my computer screen and eat all of it! Ya’ll just don’t know what you’ve got right there in your own orchard! LOL! Everything looks delicious!
Oh, we are so thankful, Sis. Elms!
Remember to email me and remind me to send you some cherries. Your sister, Karla, too. They’ll be ready in about two weeks. Love you!

I love cherries. Next time we go through Gilroy, on our way to Monterey, we will be stopping at The Pitstop.
Oh, that would be wonderful, Cheryl! See ya soon!
