Yesterday my wonderful nephew turned 10 years old! He is Andrew and Shawnna (my sis) Buxton’s oldest son and he is a very sweet, thoughtful, loving boy. One thing that stands out to me about him is, his great affection for his dad. He is almost always by his side. Wanting to sit next to him in restaurants, wanting to hear him talk to other people, asking questions, wanting to do the things he does. On days he doesn’t have school and his dad goes to work, Gentry loves to go to work with him and help him do drywall and construction-type jobs. He loves to help his dad with church activities, also, and helps him set things up for church, etc. Gentry has a great example in his dad and when he grows up he will do wonderful things in the Kingdom of God, like his dad.

Happy Birthday Gentry. I see more and more why Esther is wanting to hurry up and get back to California. She has beautiful grandchildren and children here.
