Landmark 2008

Every January for over thirty years (since 1974), Landmark Conference has convened in Stockton, California. Since the construction of the new facilities on Highway 99 and Christian Life Way, Landmark Conference has been hosted in the sanctuary of Christian Life Center. Influential ministers from across the country, even other nations, have shared their burden and ministry with the congregations that gathered for Landmark.

Not only did they have the usual emphasis on the ministry of the Spirit, but the United Pentecostal Church International (UPCI), headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri, partnered with Christian Life Ministries to bring Global Impact to this event. Global Impact is a new initiative of the UPCI to promote personal, family, and church growth throughout the world. The purpose of the program is to inspire every congregation to double within the next decade.

For the past three days and nights, my family and I, along with hundreds of other people who hunger for more of God in their lives, were blessed mightily by the services at Landmark 2008. The Word of God was preached by great men of God and God’s Spirit fell on His people and changed lives. Bro. Wayne Huntley, Bro. Nathaniel Haney, Bro. & Sis. Willoughby (missionaries to Singapore), Bro. Randy Keyes, Bro. Lee Stoneking, and more, blessed us and moved us to do more for the Kingdom of God in these last days.

The CLC Mass Choir was led by Bro. Laird Sillimon.

  • It sounds like you enjoyed some great services. Bro. Laird Sillimon knows how to get the best out of the choir. We enjoyed his ministry when he was here in Gaithersburg MD. I am sure the foundation of worship was set for the word of God by anointed preaching! God bless you!

Yes, Bro. Kevin, Bro. Sillimon is an awesome choir director! He’s a great teacher, too. My boys and I have attended his music conference the last couple of years called, “To The Chief Musician”, and what a blessing it has been.

    God bless you, too!

  • I have been looking for apostolic approved homeschool items and reading items for my family. It looks like I might have find a great site to browse. I can hardly wait until I have some serious time to explore your site. Thanks

  • Hello, Shawne! I’m so glad you found me and commented. Please feel free to email me if you have any questions. I’ve been homeschooling since 1999 when my boys were ages, 8 and 13. Now, my oldest is 22 and I’m still homeschooling my 16 yr. old.
    God bless you!
