We had our first service in our new sanctuary last night! The Spirit of the Lord was there in a mighty way – like God was saying, “I approve and I will bless you.” We also had several “1st-time” visitors.
Bro. Than led us in songs and worship, and the praise team and musicians were comfortable and right at home on top of our new platform. Then the four young men who had returned from “Soul Winners Boot Camp” testified and inspired the congregation to work at winning souls for the Kingdom. Next, Pastor spoke a little, then had all the men line up across the front. He gave them some oil on their hands and had them pass it to the ones next to them. We were going to anoint the new building and God would bless it with His Spirit and healing powers. The men joined hands and prayed. What mighty praying they did. We felt the power of God so strong. Then, Pastor told the men to turn and face the congregation and told the women to come up and get some of the anointing oil from the men’s hands. Then the women joined hands and prayed. Pastor told everyone to start walking around the church and anointing everything with the oil and praying God’s Spirit to fill the house. We prayed that when the hurt, hungry, lonely people enter in to this house of God, that His Spirit would touch them and change them forever.
What a miracle God did for this church in helping us get it done. I need to give Him all the credit.
I want to post photos, but I haven’t been able to figure it out, yet.

Excellent news. Congratulations to all of you, for I know everyone has worked so hard.
Pastor Hurst is right. We must have the anointing of God on every building. A beautiful sanctuary is wonderful, but only after it is anointed and sanctioned of God is it perfect.
I expect to hear more reports of revival and success in your wonderful church.

Shirley Buxton

Congratulations on completing your building! I know it’s exciting to have a new church, but it’s even more exciting when the presence of God inhabits the building. I know you’ll have many glorious Spirit filled services in your new facility.
Love,
Carol
